So the other day I went to a community meeting and the woman who spoke looked exactly like Mrs Raven. It was hilarious.

Superman vs. Thermoman
Out of curiosity, I rented the first Superman movie the other day.  For the record, I think George could kick Clark's ass.

I love My Hero. The British shows are the BEST! I discoverd the show last fall when we went to digital cable and picked up BBC America. Does anyone have any icons?

OK, so my local TV just showed reruns for the longest time, and today was finally a new episode, and now all of a sudden George and Janet have a new kid! When did that happen?!

I'm so excited! I've found more people that like My Hero. I haven't seen all the episodes and I'm hoping they play more. I live in America and our public tv picks them up you see. They buy them from the UK to play over here, and if funding is bad well there is the problem. Any way hello all!

You are kidding, right?

I mean, this is some kind of joke, surely?

There are people, not only in the UK - but in America - watching this SHITE?

My Hero is amongst the worst sitcoms ever. Offensively bad. And ardal o'hanlan is a CUNT.

Yeah, you heard me.

...what the...?

I'm watching the second episode. Piers has a South Park poster in his waiting room.

I feel obligated to join, out of sheer delight that others also love my favorite TV show. I'm terribly behind, though, watching re-runs in America . . . does anyone know if it is at all possible to buy episodes?

On this week's ep (the one where Ollie starts aging), Janet mentions playing a game called "Knock-Down Ginger". What does this mean?

Missed the post
I just came back to the community to see if, by some miracle, it had members. It does.

I think I missed the window of oppetunity though. I doubt anyone will come and post again.

I had no idea about this anime series.

Wow. On a whim, I added "My Hero" to my interests list, and wow, I never expected to find more than a few people, much less a community for it!

I love this show. But I see it on PBS, on US tv, so I don't know how far behind in eps we are from you Brits...

Anyway, I first heard about it when I was showing some photo edits to a friend of mine, and he asked if I could make him one. He sent me a picture of a guy with steam coming out of his ears, and requested the word bubble to read "Of course your meatballs aren't too spicy, Janet! I'm THERMOMAN!"

Well, I thought he was nuts. He told me it was from a British show on Saturday nights, and one week I happened to catch it. Boy was I delighted! I love the humor, the cast...it's so imaginative! I think the closest show we had in the States is "Third Rock from the Sun", but that wouldn't be all *that* close...

BTW--you all know there's an anime series called "Voltron", right?

I just watched the first show of the new series and it's still good. Most of what I thouht had not changed since the last series:
Ollie still annoyed me.
Piers was still quite painful to watch (one of those embarrising-funny) characters.
Janet's parents (I think they are called Stanley and Elle) were funny and acted well together.
Tyler was still my favourite character.

He did look quite strange in a suit though, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for him when he went back into fantasy after Mrs. Raven dumped him.

Though I don't remember him getting a crush on her in the first place.

I'm Brita*Chica, the person who put together this community, though it isn't much of one at the moment.
This is a community for people to discuss the television show My Hero.
Anyone is welcome to join.
